International cooperation: Memorandum of Understanding
BENECON University Consortium – Hacettepe University Turkey
Il Consorzio Universitario BENECON, presieduto dal Prof. Carmine Gambardella, Cattedra UNESCO su Paesaggio, Beni Culturali e Governo del Territorio, ha sottoscritto un Memorandum of Understanding con la prestigiosa Hacettepe University di Ankara che, sulle base delle prestazioni accademiche, è considerata una delle più accreditate Università turche. I rapporti di cooperazione scientifica e culturale fra il BENECON e la Hacettepe University sono già attivi dal 2015 con la partecipazione della Prof. Duygu Koca, delegata a rappresentare l’Università turca, alle ultime quattro edizioni del Forum Internazionale di Studi ‘Le Vie dei Mercanti’. Numerosi altri Centri di Ricerca e Atenei di 41 Paesi in tutti i Continenti hanno risposto all’invito lanciato dal Prof. Carmine Gambardella al XVII Forum World Heritage and Legacy al fine di incrementare le attività di cooperazione scientifica, lo scambio di best practice, e di avviare progetti operativi per la tutela e la valorizzazione del Patrimonio Culturale, materiale e intangibile, in diverse aree geografiche del mondo.
The BENECON University Consortium, chaired by Prof. Carmine Gambardella, UNESCO Chair on Landscape, Cultural Heritage and Territorial Government, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the prestigious Hacettepe University of Ankara which, based on academic performance, is considered one of the most accredited Turkish universities. The scientific and cultural cooperation activitiess between BENECON and Hacettepe University have been active since 2015 with the participation of Prof. Duygu Koca, delegated to represent the Turkish University, to the last four editions of the International Forum ‘Le Vie dei Mercanti ‘. Numerous other Research Centers and Universities in 41 countries on all continents have responded to the invitation launched by Prof. Carmine Gambardella at the XVII World Heritage and Legacy Forum in order to increase scientific cooperation activities, the exchange of best practices, and to start operational projects for the protection and enhancement of the Cultural and Intangible Heritage, in different geographical areas of the world.
